Welcome to the new on-line home of Gypsy Stew-a most uncommon band.
Founder Don Cook began the band as a duo and for a decade performed, recorded and toured throughout the country. With dual home bases in rural North Central Ohio and New Orleans, Don in 2021 brought in New Orleans based Dick Deluxe on guitar and vocals and Ohio native Brad Oviatt on violin to complete his guitar and vocal stylings
After a successful summer/fall of touring and performing from Philadelphia to Chicago to Florida the band is currently doing their Mardi Gras/Jazz Fest, French Quarter Fest season in New Orleans. After festival season we once are returning to the Ohio base for another summer in the great Midwest and beyond.
